A chance for a clear-out and to generate some extra cash for the society or for yourself (in which case the club takes a commission of 15%). Only society members are admitted to the sale and are eligible to bid for items. Anything remaining unsold must be taken away again on the evening as there is no storage space. Similarly, anything purchased must be paid for and taken away on the evening.

Sunday 26th April 2009, 10 am, Rubber Powered Locomotive Competition.
This is a new event for us. Members rubber powered locomotives compete to see which can go furthest along (around?) the club track.
Rules:
1. Rubber powered (obviously)
2. 3.5" gauge
3. Maximum length 12 inches
4. Any materials can be used, obviously the lighter the better
5. Rubber drive can be wound by manual hand drill only
6. Model can be mechanically or propeller driven
